Badges at home
At cubs we offer a varied program of badges which, through regularly joining us on Fridays, camps and trips, will enable cubs to earn badges. These are a combination of:
Activity badges (Red ones)
These badges are around a single theme or activity,
Staged activity badges (Pale blue round ones)
These badges are designed to increase in difficulty as a young person progresses through all sections.
Challenge badges (Dark Blue Hexagons)
These badges have a broader theme, with a wide range of activities requiring completion before they are awarded.
Chief Scouts Silver Award
If a cub is with us for long enough, and plays an active part in the pack, the highest award a cub can earn is the Chief Scouts Silver Award. To complete this, a cub must earn all Challenge badges and at least 6 activity badges.
Details of all the badges available can be found on the Scout Association website, below are links to some which can be completed at home, and resources to help you, and evidence you would need to bring to cubs to earn the badge.
